Just wondering. When RIV is no longer new and shiny plus having other new DVC resorts as options for renters, would RIV still have the same draw? There are still 40 years+ left on the contract. LAX

Maybe they think some would get tired of the second-class treatments and fork over the cash for some direct points? I personally would just dump my DVC points if it gets bad enough. I have zero interest to pay direct prices. LAX

Whenever I have looked at VDH recently, it has always been fully booked right up to 7 months. I wonder how many have been successful at booking VDH. LAX

If there wasn't a "price tag" when offered, I can't see how you can get charged for it. I supposed you can call to verify if there would indeed be a charge before you arrive, just in case there were some fine prints that you glossed over. LAX

So you booked DCL through DVC using cash at fares close to opening day rate? I didn't realize this is possible. LAX

Not sure how old OP's child is, but my kids' passports were never signed when they were younger and we never had any issue. I suspect even a squggly line will be fine as the minor probably won't have other forms of ID for "verification." LAX
