I think it depends on your favorite park. MK go BLT or EP go BWV. I just stayed at both last month and had no issues at either. I enjoy sliding into EP for a Guinness at the Rose and Crown and wander WS so it would be BWV for me in this scenario. But, if watching HEA from your balcony is on...

In that case, I'd go look at the confirmed reservations for your date range at the DVC Rental Store to get something booked. That could be a tough time to get anything else if you don't have points somewhere.

I did a daddy/daughters trip a couple of years ago with my two. It was very last minute so I pieced together a trip hours before we left. We stayed at OKW (their least favorite), AKL and BWV. We own at BWV so I knew they love it there. Having a vehicle was a must for this type of split stay...

We own at both BLT and BWV. I'd choose based on the park you intend to frequent the most since you are mostly open to close types. I love BWV for the walks to EP and DHS and love BLT for the walk to MK. Each resort has its own pros and cons that seem to cancel out for me.

I voted no, but we would likely want to stay if it is a possibility. As BLT owners a boat ride to FW for those activities and HDDR is always manageable as long as the boats are running. Like many others, I don't see the cabins being a long term desire for us, but one or two stays over the years...

Thinking about the early morning run for the 10-miler.... is it cold enough that you would wear a long-sleeve dri-fit shirt or would that get too hot as the run goes on? We are training in Arkansas so will be used to changing temps and I've been to WDW in March, but I am never up that early on...

I like the walk to the TTC from the DVC longhouses. If/when the walkway to VGF and then MK open, we might just try that walk from the Tower if we stay there.

We were almost ready to pull the trigger on a PVB add-on, but as we were discussing it, I think we want to stay at the tower before buying more points. The monorail could get a glut of new passengers and with it being a decent hike from the TTC (at least compared to the existing DVC studios)...
