Help me understand PAT vs boarding group

I didn't have to, I advanced to the page and it told me what it was. I think if you're coming from the airport you have to pick at PAT though.

Help me understand PAT vs boarding group

There was such a bottleneck at the check in, they had blown past our BG by the time we got through security. So you probably won't even have to wait once you get past security. If you're a returning cruiser, no need to stay up if you have port transfers. The only thing you would need to be up...

    Overwhelmed and

I never do, my trips aren't complex enough for me to need one, and I'm basically at my computer all day so if discounts do drop I can handle it myself.

Zero Enforcement of Dress Code @ Palo

My husband was told to go back to the room to get his sneakers for brunch, because men need to wear closed toe shoes (which if they had spelled it out specifically in the dress code, he wouldn't have been irritated, it was more that it wasn't specified)

    Placeholder logistics

Countersign, and I'll add in fully potty trained. We survived a 4 night with an un potty trained 3 year old (not for lack of trying, she's just stubborn) but I was really glad we hadn't booked a 7 night.

    Overwhelmed and

If I remember, it was hot but not humid and that made all the difference in the world. But I was on my honeymoon so I don't remember the details and we were more focused on the "wine" part of food and wine....wine that is in the form of margaritas in Mexico.

    Dress code for MDRs?

For the MDRs, it's basically wear clothes that aren't bathing suits and some sort of shoe.

November or December for a Christmas trip? Plus Resort question

Oddly enough my youngest who is the lightest sleeper in the world, wasn't bothered by the fireworks in Tuvalu when we stayed at the Poly in April 2022 but I can't remember if she was asleep by then or not....

Observations from our 4-Night Wish cruise 4/8-4/12

I don't think we ever made it to the bars on the Dream, whereas I stepped foot in most of them on the Wish as I was wandering around the ship before picking up my kiddo from the kids club

November or December for a Christmas trip? Plus Resort question

I don't remember the fireworks at WL but I do remember the electric pageant, that was worse. It could be that we were facing the water dead on from our room (5069). Normally it wouldn't have bothered me, but we had gotten up early that morning to disembark the Wish and we were leaving early...

Observations from our 4-Night Wish cruise 4/8-4/12

Arendelle was the one place where I got 2 appetizers because I couldn't choose. Arendelle was also the one place where I felt crammed in like sardines. Our table assignment actually had us at an 8 top in Marvel and we also had some breathing room in 1923, but Arendelle felt like a sardine can.

    Strollers

I totally get wanting it at the airport and I really wish we hadn't gotten rid of our umbrella stroller (summer infant 3d), it would have been perfect for the airport and tolerable to bring on the ship. But looking back, there's no way we would have been able to wrangle the folded up stroller...

Which one will I regret the most?

My sister visited for the first time last summer. She picked up KTTW cards at the resort instead of using magicbands as they were planning a one and done trip and she couldn't cost justify the magicband costs. She did not use Genie+ but it did result in some pivoting when Test Track didn't open...

    Overwhelmed and

MBs are a nice souvenir but not necessary, but if you're not going to use them, I recommend getting physical media over using the phone. Using the phone is efficient for one, maybe 2 people but once you get over that amount, it clogs up the line. Genie+, we use it judiciously, it makes the...

    Strollers

It'll fit under the bed, but I don't think it'll fit through the doors, it's why we didn't bring ours. I didn't want to deal with the hassle of bringing it to just deal with folding it in the hallway to carry it in. But that's just a personal decision. We did survive stroller free and just...

    Room change, dining the same?

I changed my room twice and it never impacted the main dining time....but all my changes were made waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay in advance of sailing.

Looking for ideas/suggestions on where to stay

I would book the different rooms at the same place and have each reservation notated with a "traveling with" so the assignors put you as close to each other as possible....and if you use a TA, they can always look for discounts when they drop.

    Should we try it?

We're go, go, go like you...but we're Disney people so we enjoy DCL. It also forces my husband to sloooooooooooooooooooow down, which he appreciates. And it's more cost contained than the parks. I load up my account with credit to spend to cover the expenses we add in (alcohol, photo package...

Does anyone have Disney's All star music resort phone number for front desk?

All of that can be handled by the call center, they relay messages pretty well. I had issues with my final folio, I emailed them and they handled it within 24-48 hours. The only reason I've actually had to talk to someone at the front desk was to try to get a room assigned earlier ( we were...
