I didn't see any outdoor construction going on there - the railings were in tact and there was (uncomfortable) patio furniture in place... but didn't see anyone in them. I had requested a standard view in this area.

Standard… so since it is theoretically an upgrade I bet they didn’t feel the need to necessarily inform me. The only rooms I see being worked on now are in the wing closest to HS - so standard and pool/garden view.

No official notification - when we were assigned a room number it was a pool view versus what we had booked

Here now writing from the DVC pool - definitely still working on pool / garden view over by this pool. Surprisingly enough, we originally booked a standard view and were convinced they were going to move us - which they did, to a garden / pool view looking over the main pool.

We just did this last week for a late breakfast but wow, was the boat from MK to WL quiet since we were going in the 'wrong direction'. Definitely enjoyed it as part of the experience!

Have a 1BDR standard view booked for early to mid April. No contact yet to be moved, but when we walked by there last week definitely looked like the standard rooms around the DVC pool had some work to go!

This is a great review! I was able to do a mosaic at the community hall in boardwalk last visit in May. It was nice to be able to do it on my own time (and the CMs grouted it for me) but your review makes me want to stop by to enjoy a whole class devoted to it!

A few years back at this point, but I went to Cosmo Nail Salon on Vineland Ave (on the way to the premium outlets). They were clean and efficient.

W/o 2/19 is also 'February vacation' week for certain states in the Northeast as well that flock to warmer weather

Another idea is to try to find pictures of the fitness center on the hotel website/trip advisor - I have done this with success in the past!
