We're going on the June 14, 7 day eastern. My father has an internal morephine pump to relieve pain due to a medical condition. He sailed with it on a 4 day cruise in 2000 with no problem but I'm concerned about the 7 day. He carries a special card with him that explains what this contraption is (he always has to show it going through security) but should we alert the ship's doctor ahead of time about his condition? His doctor has said he's fine to travel.

This fall, I thought I read on these boards that there is a medical form that you can get from Disney to fill out and fax back that just records important medical history. Is this true? If so, who should I call?

Yes, you definitely need to get the Medical Form from DCL. You can ask your TA to get it for you if you used one; otherwise call DCL and they will get one to you.

Enjoy your cruise! :)
