Animal Kingdom Special Events: What would you choose?

We loved WAT. We were considering repeating it but then saw Savor the Savannah so we'll be doing that in September.

We have done the Trek twice and the Rhino tour once. I loved them both!! It really depends what you want to spend and how much time you want to commit. The Trek is amazing and you get pictures!!! The Rhino tour is so informative and you might actually get to pet a Rhino!! There are no pictures allowed during this tour. We have also done the tour with the Elephants. Another great tour but I would pick the Rhino over that one. Animal Kingdom does the best tours and the Cast Members are amazing!!

The rope bridge over the hippos and crocs was my favorite part. Iam a little afraid of heights so I wasn't sure I wanted to do it, but it didn't bother me after all.

I'm glad to hear this. I really want to do this tour but have a fear of heights. The pictures I've seen make me think I can do this without any issues, but it's nice to know for sure.

A vote for Savor the Savannah. We have done it x3 and really enjoy it! You spend more time at the Boma and alcoholic drinks are included. The African wine and beer is really good.

The whole tour was about 2 hours. We spent 45-60 minutes at the boma. (Not the restaurant Boma, but the overlook on the savanna.

I agree with above. We spent about an hour at the Boma, it was great. The lions were roaring, so we were able to take the boardwalk path from the back of the Boma to get a closer view. We also really enjoyed the getting to know one of the animal specialists. She brought over the giraffes and cattle. The giraffes were so curious about us, but did not want to come really close.
