DH and I have decided to drive to Disney and that way we can shop for our new home while on vacation.

I was hoping there would be stores in the US like Winners and others like that...

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Psst - same company ;)

Ross, Marshall's come to mind; also lots of other brand name department store discount stores like Nordstrom Rack, Sak's Off 5th Ave, Filene's Basement, for instance.

Not exactly a store..but when we drive down to Disney we like to stop in Grove City...it is in Pennsylvania. Now we normally shop for clothing when we go there but I know there are housewares stores and all kinds of great stores and great prices. I don't know about the taxes on everything but I believe there are no taxes on clothing (maybe just kids clothes) and lower tax rates on other things too. It is a Prime Outlet mall...I am sure you can look them up on the web.

TJ max actually owns Winners and there is Marshalls too. If your looking for the closest thing to Winners TJ Max would be your best bet.

For Home stuff there's HomeGoods which is like HomeSense.

The above posters are right....TJMax, Marshalls, etc.

But keep in mind, like Winners, it's hit and miss depending what area or city you are in.

We had two TJMax near us when we lived in the US. One of them was total crap. This other was fantastic. I think it depends on the buyers for each particular store.

I also LOVE Kohl's.

Tuesday Morning - very similar to Winners or Homesense. Don't think they carry clothes but the one I was in in Utah carried bedding, bath, toys, dust collectors, so on. Some nice stuff at good prices. Don't know where else the stores are tho I think they have them in Texas too. I've seen ads in US newspapers.

Marshall's. I couldn't believe how much it resembled Winners. It's the exact same thing.

That is so true. One time my cousin and I shopped at the same TJ Maxx but a week apart. She found a designer purse and all I could find was a sports bra

HomeGoods...Great, I love Home Sense so I will be sure to check all of these out.

I love Kohl's too. I got some really nice (and cheap!) clothes from there without the hassle of sifting through a bunch or cr@p like at winners.

i think bealz is the same type of store its on th O B T just down from the walmart super center.its about 15 minits from disney and the florida mall is 10 minits from there just up the road.

There's also lots of outlet shopping in Orlando. The two main ones are the belz mall out on International (belz.com/factory/locations/orlando/) and the premium outlet mall on Vineland (premiumoutlets.com/outlets/outlet.asp?id=17.) There's also a smaller one called Lake Beuna Vista Outlet (lbvfs.com).
