Has anyone tried using their Landrys card at T Rex before? How long did you have to wait? We have a party of 7 and looking to eat there for Dinner!

We did a few years ago and were seated right away. We were there for lunch and the restaurant wasn't totally full. The policy is that you are seated next with the card, so you should be seated as soon as a table for 7 comes available as long as no other Landry card holders are ahead of you.

We've used it several times.....typically 5-10 minute wait. One time we waited half an hour and then found out they forgot about us

According to the Landry's website, priority seating is for parties of 6 or less. Not sure how strict they are about it, but it's worth noting.

Rainforest would not sit our party of 6 adults and 1 child. The child would have either sat in a high chair or in his parent’s lap meaning we would have only needed a table for 6 anyways, but they would not do it. It was really busy though.

I was going to sign up now but saw that it had to be used within 30 days of purchase. After that it goes back to $25

LOL I didn't catch that but as I am going next month............ Even so it basically costs nothing for the card if you are planning to eat at one of the restaurants and it seems to help getting seated faster, even with an ADR

You can also call the restaurant directly to make a reservation instead of going through WDW ADR system. There would be no cancellation penalty.

Oh wow this is good info to hear. So im assuming you were put into a "lower priority" seating? If thats the case, how long did you have to wait?

We've only used it once there as we have no desire to return, but we were seated immediately with two people. The time you have to wait depends on how many people are waiting ahead of you (w/Landry Card) for your size party - up to 6.

You were technically a party of 7 though as the high chair would need it's own place at the table. We were seated promptly on a very busy night as a table for two had just become available. More than 6 are not guaranteed.

Yup. Rules are rules and we understood. Just commenting to show how strict they are. High chair could have easily been placed at the head of the table as most small children only require a seat and would not have a place setting. Or they could have let the parent hold the small child. But their policy is 6 so nbd.
