Aulani over Thanksgiving break

We want to take a family trip to Aulani for Thanksgiving 2022. We would like a 2 bedroom villa, would we have to own there to make that happen or can we book at 7 months?

Another option would be, since we are talking 2022, is that you rent your points, take the funds from that an rent Aulani points from someone for your trip. Depending on your resort it could be a even swap.
