I just replied to a post regarding autograph books but thought this should be a tip on its own! My DD (9) has three Disney autograph books, none of which are full because we forget to take the previous one with us!
On our last trip (May 01), instead of buying yet another book, we bought a pack of postcards from each park (but if you're on a budget you could just pick up Disney-themed packs from any gift/souvenir shop) and had the characters we met sign the cards. This performed a dual purpose - DD kept the ones she didn't have and sent the ones she already had in her books(s) to her friends back home!
