Back From My Disney Wedding!

My wife and I just returned from your wedding in Disney. We were married at the wedding Pavilion and had our reception at the Boardwalk. We were there for almost 3 weeks. Spent one week at the Yacht Club and the remaining days at the Wilderness Lodge.

I have to say that the cast members did a great job of making our wedding and honeymoon extra special. The service we received was fantastic!

We used Randy Chapman for photography. He did a great job and got some really good pictures. He was a nice person to speak with and was very flexible.
For our video we used Stan Severance from SVTS Video. His work was incredible. We received our DVD and it came out awesome! I would highly recommend these two professionals for your needs.

I wasn't too crazy about the Yacht Club. I found it to be a little too stuffy for me. I didn't have that Disney magic in my opinion. I was a very nice hotel though.

If you are thinking about staying at the Yacht Club, I would consider the Beach Club or the Boardwalk over it. I found them to have a much more comfortable and welcoming atmosphere than the Yacht Club. Plus I thought the hotel decor was nicer.

Thanks so much for the information on the Yacht Club. We saw the Travel Channel special on the Yacht & Beach Club and really liked them....your feedback is much appreciated!! We will definitely look more closely at the Beach Club and Boardwalk.....

I was wondering if you could give me some information on the Boardwalk reception. We are having a very difficult time deciding which resort to have our reception, The Grand Floridan is so convenient from the Wedding Pavilon but I am not thrilled with the decor and my fiance' liked the Boardwalk ballroom the best but I am not so sure about it.

We were considering the Grand Floridian also. We found it to be a little too "stuffy" for us. The Boardwalk was gorgeous. We had an outdoor patio also for our guests to enjoy. We liked the decor of the Boardwalk over the Grand Floridian. It could also be we are from Jersey and love the boardwalk here.

I wouldn't worry about how close it is to the Pavilion. It's only a short car ride over there. All of our guests had a great time. I would ask your wedding coordinator to send you pictures of the Boardwalk reception area. Hope this helps!

I was raised a Jersey Shore girl and couldn't pass up having my reception at the Boardwalk. After careful consideration though, we used Atlantic Dance. It was phenomenal! The ceremony was in the Italy Pavilion, then they boated us to the Boardwalk. Atlantic Dance is only available during the day, but that was perfect as we had 5 small children attending. The kids had their own party upstairs at Atlantic Dance, where they could see the action. It was a beautiful and wonderful experience! We even had casino tables for those that didn't dance.
