Looking for some new, special experiences that I might not be aware of. Any feedback is really appreciated. On all of the dessert parties, did you find them worth it? How were the desserts?

Keys to the Kingdom Tour has been my favorite. My DDs would say Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique was their favorite.

We've done a few dessert parties. They can be fun. The desserts are pretty good. Definitely worth trying one you're interested in.

Club Villain is the best extra cost experience I've done.

I've done all the dessert parties except for Illuminations. It's easy to get caught up in dessert party fever on these boards and I always book them.

Then I actually go to the parties and they're really not worth the cost to me.

MK Wishes: I don't like the view of the fireworks, it is off center to the castle and it always seems to change if people are able to go stand at the rails or not. I didn't think the desserts were that great and I can never eat as many as I want to make it worth it.

DHS Star Wars: This party probably had the best food selection. I still can't stuff my face enough to justify the cost though. We had a pretty decent view of the projections but I just don't know if it was worth the money.

We found Early Morning Magic at HS to be worth the extra cost to us, speaking as a family who doesn't get to go much, it really helped us make the most of our day.

Club Villain, hands down one of the best extra cost. Also up there was the Jungle Cruise breakfast they did at Disneyland where you ate in the African Velt area of the ride then got to ride the boats and be the skipper!

Unfortunantly, neither are currently offered.

Wishes dessert was okay, but we wouldn't do it again. And after seeing SWAGS, I wouldn't do it for that show. The previous SW FW show, in a heart beat, but this show was very underwhelming, and I'm a huge SW fan.

In terms of extra cost experiences, we've done the kids cruises out of GF and YC, Pirates and Pals, Wishes Dessert Party with Plaza Viewing, and Wild Africa Trek.

My DS loved the kids cruises when he was younger and the Pirates and Pals cruise was really fun! I really enjoyed the Wishes Dessert Party with Plaza viewing. I thought the desserts were delicious and the viewing area is outstanding. Perfect view and no crowds. Wild Africa Trek was fine, but I was hoping for more "adventurous" experiences like the rope bridge. The food was delicious!

For most favorite not including food, it is between the Marceline to Magic kingdom tour and the UnDISCOVERed Future World tour. Both were highly informational and fun. I have done the Illuminations and Wishes dessert parties and like the Illuminations one better. The view was the best I ever had and the food offerings tasty. But the best overall experience for combining good food and fun and information was Dine with an Imagineer.

In no particular order:

Club Villain
Illuminations Cruise
Star Wars Dessert Party (and I'm NOT a Star Wars fan) - but this was before it moved inside for the pre-fireworks portion

I don't do tours at WDW since I worked there - so, I've pretty much seen it all. But my non-CM friends who have felt they were very enjoyable and worth the money.

Club Villian hands down. I can't understand why they quit offering it.

We really enjoyed the Dine With an Animal Specialist meal. At $49 a person, it was a relative bargain.

Pirates and pals was a lot of fun and a good value.

If you have been Disney World a few times and have kids under age 12 that are really into the "magic" the Disney's Family Magical Tour is a lot of fun. We always book it on a Disney AM EMH to get some rides in and then set our 3 FP for after the tour and lunch. It is always such a great day!

Keys to the kingdom or dining with an imagineer.

Used to love Wishes dessert party, but it is no longer worth it. Also, I didn't find Backstage Magic worth its value.

I don't regret doing any of the pay items but none of them screamed do me again when I was done... with 1 exception. after hours. ultimate day of thrills kind of tugs me time to time as well. MNSSHP and MVMCP isn't some lifelong part of celebrating the holiday's for us so we can take it of leave it and with the new prices last year if they go up or don't go down we're seriously considering skipping both this year.

Wanyama safari and Wild Africa Trek were my favorites. (I kinda like animals.)
