So I always read everyone else's posts and find them helpful but figure our trip is long so don't want to do it all at once. So here goes, we grabbed a late flight into Sanford Friday night and got into our 1-bedroom around 11:30pm. The only weird thing was getting our welcome email before our room number, but we at least had that before we were at the resort and were able to go straight to our room. We stayed up and unpacked and lavished in how much more room a 1 bedroom is compared to a studio. (Darn you DVC I've gone down the rabbit hole).

After a few hours of sleep we were up early Saturday (12/18) and went to the Swan to grab coffee and breakfast and then meandered around the lake before we headed back to the room and got our stuff gathered to head to the park. We walked down and it was a 9am opening with 30 minute extra resort time. We walked through security at 7:30am and then were first in line for Rock and Roll at 7:35am. They walked us back at exactly 8:30am and we then headed to toy story mania and saucers before our 9:30am LL for Slinky. After that we had our Mickey and Minnie's ILL and then grabbed a TOT LL. At this point we headed back to the resort and took a break and started stacking for Epcot.

Around 4pm we headed to Epcot by that time we had stacked a Frozen for 5pm, a Soarin for 7pm, and a Test Track for 7:25pm. We also snagged a 6:15pm La Creperie reservation and grabbed a Journey LL for 4:20pm, because we were interested if/when we'd be able to grab another and we like Journey anyhow. After a quick stop to activate our AP renewal and get new 50th AP cards we headed to Journey, then grabbed a Nemo, then a Spaceship Earth, at this point we got notice Frozen was still down so that was a bummer, so we headed to Creations to meander and then made our way to La Creperie. Let's just say La Creperie needs some better systems we were there for almost an hour, multiple parties who got there after us had food and finished way before us, we ended up taking our desert crepes to go and by that point Frozen still wasn't up so bummed and a bit defeated by the frustration of Frozen and La Creperie we canceled our remaining lightining lanes and headed back to enjoy the room.

Saturday morning we woke up way too early again and headed down to the bus stop around 5:15am to head to Magic. Could have waited a little longer first bus came at 5:52am and we were the only ones on the bus. Got there and waited for Security to open which happened around 6:30am and the park turnstiles opened around 6:50am for the 7am early entry hours. We headed to Space and they held us until a few minutes after 7am allowing people to book ILL and LL. We snagged a late SDMT since we're heading to Christmas after hours and an 8:10am Peter Pan. During the early hour we rode Space, Buzz, Pooh and Under the Sea, we then grabbed a much needed coffee from Cheshire Cat and then headed to our Peter Pan LL. We grabbed a Splash LL for afterwards, but after walking onto Haunted we fiddle faddled and ended up not being able to get anything back within the time frame we wanted, but it ended up working out because Splash was a 5 minute wait so would have been a waste of LL at that time. So we ended up starting to stack for tonight with Jungle Cruise and went to the Emporium before catching a bus to Riviera grabbing another coffee from La Petite and then a brunch at 10:50am at Trattoria and then came back to the room to rest up and stack a few more LL before tonights party.

Yea, once you've tasted a 1BR, it's tough to go back to a regular room!

Enjoy!!
Very true to the 1BR statement (OPs husband here). We already have an AKV Value Studio and a VGF Standard studio lined up for summer so that will stay put but we’ve talked about skipping our usual shorter fall trip so we can do a 1 BR next Christmas again.
