Can I buy a ticket for wagon ride early in the day?

Hi Fort Wilderness Pros. I would like to take the 8:30 pm wagon ride on Friday, Dec. 8th, but will be in Animal Kingdom until around 7:00 pm. Is it possible to stop by the fort and purchase a ticket during the morning? If not, can anyone tell me what time the ticket sales start?

Wagon Rides are on a first come basis. I believe they open 30 minutes prior. I am sure someone will second this or correct me if it has changed since we did this.

Thank you. If it is still 30 minutes prior, I think I would have a good chance of getting there in time to buy a ticket for the 8:30 ride.

We actually walked up the last time we were there and booked it on spot via cell phone. There was an opening, all about luck.

FYI:
If you have a Disney Visa you can book it with a discount.
