Isn't that crazy?? I almost thought you were joking at first and were going to reference Sean's story or something. It's hard to believe that wasn't an isolated incident.

Pete did say at the time that he had heard a few references to it happening to others, so it’s not isolated and this security guard needs some retraining ASAP

I absolutely loved the Hoop De Doo review when I went to Disney. Haven't done it in a while but it is a fun dinner.

I’d gladly go again.

There was a show on the Dis about this a few weeks ago. The same thing happened to Sean and his family on Christmas Eve, only it seriously escalated. This guy seems to thrive on harassing patrons.

I’m shocked that it wasn’t
an isolated incident!
And it looks like several
people saw that podcast.

Maybe, maybe not. I'm not sure where the hoop dee doo is, but going to trails end for breakfast requires two buses. Bus to resort and then another bus to trails end.

I went by boat.

It could have. The gulf is pretty shallow for the first 100 yards or so.

I'm not sure if I mentioned it before but you can go to Tambu lounge and get the potstickers, wings and bread pudding along with a beverage of your choice. All the best parts of an Ohana dinner for a fraction of the cost.

I did know this and
maybe some day I’ll go.
But I want the full experience.

Boat travel is the best travel and it sounds like you were seated very close by where Bill and I were in July.

Love traveling by boat.
And the seats were great!

I had the white sangria which was nice, refreshing and plentiful.

Probably not actually. If you take a bus (or come by your own car), you have to get off at the front and take the internal buses to Pioneer Hall so it takes forever and isn't nearly as fun.

Yeah that line does get crazy! They told us though that you table is assigned when you book your reservation so the closest you book to 180 days out, the better your table. Not sure if that's true though!

Wouldn’t risk it.

Besides, I’d rather arrive
early, check in, and then
relax in a rocker, or explore,
rather than stand in line for 45 minutes.

They usually do go out eventually, we only recommend worrying if it spreads to your house.

I don't think I could swing more than that unfortunatly.

Few can.
Disney is almost pricing
itself out of range.

We went in 2015 and have another reservation for our July trip since Mike has never been.

I'm trying to remember your trip dates because @Sean Faulk had the same thing happen to him with a security guard on Christmas Eve. I'm sure it was the same guy and I really hope they fired him. I can find the link to the show where he talks about it if you want, but suffice to say, the Security Guard approached him and his family right after the show ended and basically said the same thing to them. But then things got really out of hand.

Very interesting that I have never heard a story like that and now I'm hearing it from two people within a month. It kind of makes me nervous to gp back to HDDR but like I said, I'm really hoping he's gone since the Sean incident.

I'm not a big sangria drinker, and they had no Miller Lite, so I remember going with the Yuengling Beer when I was there in May. I think Bud Light may have been the other option??

YUM. They delivered me one of my very own with a candle in it, and everyone sang Happy Birthday to me Side note: we also requested the Mac 'n Cheese (even though it isn't on the menu sign) and it was DELICIOUS!!!
