Cancellation Policy Question

Hi All, DVC Cancellations Policies are always hard for me to understand....

Let’s Say I have a June Use Year.

11 Months Out I make a reservacation for 100 Points (No Points were borrowed or banked)

10 Months out I make update the reservation to now use only 90 of the Points.

I know 10 Points go back to that years use year....

Can I still bank those 10 Points as long as I do it before the bank deadline? Or are those 10 points locked into that use year now?

Thank you for your help

You can still bank those points as long as you do it before your deadline (4 months before end of UY). HTH.

As long as you are four months from the end of your UY, you can still bank the points. IF, you changed the reservation at least 31 days out. If you waited until 30 days out, those ten points become holding points and must be used to book a reservation no more than 60 days out or they expire at the end of the UY.

With a June UY, you would need to bank those points no later than Jan 31.
