Columbus Day Weekend and Gay Days

Forgive me, but Im not really understanding scottware. I understand gay days... but scottware? Scottware just seems to be a company or guy who gives reports on the Disneyland parks through random graphs and stories on personal experiences. But it doesnt seem to be an organization which has an annual or community event taking place.

it is the expected attendance graph. I included it to show that Columbus Day is usually a high attendance weekend - and with the added Gay Days it will be worse - now I realize 10/8 is also Choc walk. Just letting folks know that this is going to be a crowded weekend. THat's all. :confused3

The good news if you are going to be there during "gay days" are according to the link, Saturday is focused on DL and Sunday is focused on DCA - so you may be okay if you plan on going to the opposite park (and based on the website, you probably don't want to wear red)

Thanks for the info :) It is much appreciated

I was there last year for one of the days. I cannot stress enough how gross some of the stuff was that I saw. There are lots of really nice gay people; but there were some real weirdos there. You would NOT want your kids exposed to the t-shirts some were wearing or the way some were acting. It was disgusting. If I hadn't seen it for myself I would not have believed that it was allowed there at DL.

A friend of mine went during that time last year too. When I told her I would be there during Gay Days she told me to prepare myself as well. She said I would see things Im not used to seeing. And it gets weird when all the colorful people wear red shirts and make their children wear red as well.

I dont have a problem with peoples preference cause its whatever makes you happy, but yeah its best to be prepared for something your not used to.
