We (4 of us) are going to be at the Boardwalk in Aug. for a week with the DDP. Our oldest daughter will be staying with friends at their house while we are there. She will be joining us for some meals (maybe 3) so we were wondering how that works with the DDP. Can we pay cash for her? Not sure if this is a problem. One of her friends may join us also. Hopefully someone can answer. Thanks

Yes you can pay OOP for those not on the plan.

Surely Disney would not want any of us to not have meals with those not on the plan.

No problem to pay for a guest with cash, while you pay for your own meal with DDP, but be sure you include them in the number on your ADRs.
