DVC lounge after reopening

Just wanted to give everyone an update on the DVC lounge at Epcot. We went today, 8/2/20. Occupancy is limited for social distancing, but we got right in today around 5 pm. Someone meets you at the top of the stairs and takes you to your assigned seating (each area has a DVC resort name, we were in Aulani.) The chairs are mostly in groups of 4 around a round table with USB ports, socially distanced from other groups, you are not allowed to move the chairs. Masks are required unless you are actively eating and drinking, CMs will go around and check periodically. They are not giving out snacks. They DO have a CM manning the freestyle Coke machines, tell them what you want and they'll get it for you. No coffee though. When you go to leave, you tell them what area you were sitting in and a CM goes to clean it for the next group. We stayed for 1/2 hour, had drinks from the coke machine, rested in the A/C and charged our phones. A CM came by to talk to us about the open houses at the resorts.

Thanks for the report. We are bummed to hear "no coffee." Does the freestyle Coke machine offer Beverly?

Lol, unfortunately no Beverly. If you never used freestyle Coke machines before, they have a bunch of flavored drinks, I just ordered based on what I remembered from previous visits--DD16 had peach minute maid lemonade, DD20 had Grape Dasani water, I had lemon lime seltzer, DH had Vanilla Barqs root beer. You can get flavored cokes, ginger ale, etc.

Thank you! No, haven't used a freestyle Coke machine except for water.

Thanks for the info! I was wondering if it was even open so it's great to hear we still get that benefit. Do you know how many per group do they allow to go in? We are a family of 6.
