Easter Crowds

My DH is currently stationed in Bosnia with the National Guard. He will be home for the month of April before being deployed again in early May to Kosovo. We are trying to plan a trip with our 3 kids and as usual Disney comes to mind. With all of the other things going on that month, it appears that we would have to go to Disney either the week before Easter or the week after Easter--but not actually be at Disney on Easter.

What are the crowds like at that time. We will our kids aged 7, 4 and 11 months with us.

We have been to Disney in April before, but never when Easter was that close.

Thanks for your help.

Easter is April 20. From April 13 to April 26 you will face the largest crowds of the year along with Christmas Week and which of those weeks you go makes little difference as both weeks are overwhelming. And note that it is not like it is worse Easter weekend -- it is just as bad the entire time. You get sustained lines (all day all night from about 10 a.m. on) for popular rides of 2 hours or more (three for Test Track). You will even see hour lines for Swiss Family Treehouse, the most lame of all MK attractions, most of the day. Fastpasses for popular rides can run out for the entire day before noon. PS's for park restaurants for dinner should be considered mandatory if you intend to eat at one. If you went in April before but not one of the Easter weeks then just multiply the crowd you saw by 3 to get an idea of what you will face.
