Eat at Home 3!

I took my mom out for dinner tonight. Today was the first time since her surgery last fall that she could run errands without using a wheelchair. She used her walker and walked around every place we went, yay. I figured she deserved dinner out for that.

I am just planning a few days at a time until I can do a huge grocery shop this weekend. I have been depleting our cupboards and freezer and only buying fresh stuff. It's time to replenish just about everything.
So last Saturday was penne and homemade meatballs.

Sunday was ribs, mac and cheese and corn

Tonight everyone did their own thing. Mostly soup and sandwiches.

Tuesday is homemade pizzas with chicken, bacon, and veggies

...and that's all I have planned so far.

Tonight: pierogies, chicken sausage and broccoli
Tomorrow: Turku burgers, salad, Mac & cheese
We'd: roasted chicken, potatoes steed veggies
Thursday: quesadillas, rice, salad
Friday: pizza (lent)

Last night we had spaghetti with sauce

Tonight is Wednesday and I always make a dessert my cousin comes over so tonight's dessert is key lime pie
Also we will be having man pleasing chicken with rice and veggies

Tomorrow is chicken noodle soup

Friday not sure yet maybe pancakes maybe tacos depends on our basketball tournament times.

Playing a little catch up....
Monday we had chili and cornbread
Tuesday we had scrambled eggs and fried potatoes

This week's menu is......
Wed- St. Louis BBQ ribs with roasted brussell sprouts and baked potatoes

Mon- Corned Beef with Irish Nachos
Tues- Homemade Mac and Cheese and Broccoli

Thurs- Lasagna

Bought a little more than expected while shopping, so I have a little more than a week's menu already. Love that! :cool1:

My slow cooker stopped working. Does anyone have a slow cooker they love? Looking at the reviews on amazon, it seems my choices are digital or very basic model.
