First week of December questions

When do the Christmas decorations go up and MVMCP begin? How is the first week of December as far as crowds and weather ? Is possible to get rooms at the 7 month our mark for this week?

The decorations will all be up by the first week of December. They start going up in mid-November and ae pretty much all up by Thanksgiving weekend. MVMCP dates usually start the Sunday after Thanksgiving. The last one has been a Friday in mid-December.

Weather is variable - ranges from hot to cold, LOL. Pack layers!

Crowds are low compared to most other times of the year. Parts of January and September may have lower crowds, but not by much.

Yes, it is certainly possible to get rooms for the first week of December at the 7 month mark.

Based on past experience, for that time in December you'll need the 11 month window for a Grand Villa anywhere and any standard view or guaranteed Boardwalk view at BWV. These aren't totally impossible, but you will almost surely have to use the waitlist and IMHO, you have only about a 50/50 chance of that working for you.

VWL is also harder to book during this time (but not as hard as those units listed above). You may have some trouble getting in there at the 7 month mark. However, the waitlist usually works for those members who get on it right at the 7 month mark.

Other than those, you shouldn't have a problem getting DVC accomodations for the first week of December at the 7 month mark.
