Fridge size in Studio?

We're headed for OKW on Saturday, to stay in a Studio for the first time since about 1993. It's been so long, we can't remember how large the fridge and freezer are. We normally get a big jug of water (2.5 gallons?)... will it fit in the fridge?

We're only there for a long weekend thru Wednesday, so we just couldn't bring ourselves to spend the points for our usual 1-Br. But it's a special trip -- our 25th wedding anniversary. Picture us pointing at each other, saying "25 years with him/her?!?!" LOL

The fridge in the studio is the dorm size fridge. The larger dorm size one. We did get a gallon of water in it. We just had to move the shelf out.

I can't say for sure the 2.5 gallon water jug will fit, but the fridge is bigger than you might think. We stayed in a studio over a long weekend in October a few years ago (our first trip as DVC members). During our grocery stop we kept reminding ourself that the fridge was tiny and so everything we bought was small-scale. We had quite the laugh when we got into the room, loaded the fridge, and every single thing we bought fit on the 2 shelves of the door.

Happy Anniversary! Dh and I just got back from celebrating our 10th at the Boardwalk. Make sure your reservation has a notation that it's your anniversary (member services can do this for you). My husband was so surprised when the CM at the front desk wished us a happy anniversary.

We just bought smaller bottles and put them in the fridge a few at a time.
We also bought a cooler (styrofoam) at Wal*Mart to hold the soda and beer and some bottles of water.
If you don't keep the canned stuff in the fridge, it leaves more room for food. (like you all did not know that. )
We bought milk and juice in half gallon containers and were able to fit them in quite well.
In this case smaller is better.

We just returned from a studio in VWL and here is a list of what we fit with room to spare!

2.5 gallon jug of water
12 pack of beer (bottles)
2 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts (we only ate four!)
6 24oz water bottles
1/2 gallon of milk
2 ice packs
2 limes
1 lb of turkey
several left overs form dinners
and a few more small things...

The fridge was bigger than a dorm fridge.

The refrigerator holds a lot, but the freezer part is pretty small - but what does one expect ? Happy 25th anniversary!
