My five lady friends and I are off for a 4 night get away next week. Any suggestions of places that would be fun to hang out to listen to music and perhaps dance? We are ages 46 to 52 and don't love the whole club electronic music scene. We are staying at the MGM. Thank for any advice!

I have no idea for dancing. But to let you know, if you have a car they now charge for parking at MGM. Asking the clerks , which are locals they may know where to go dancing.

You may want to head over to NY NY and check out Coyote Ugly. Great spot for a "Girls night out". Dancing, games, free shots. Wife and I ( 50 and 61 ) always make a point to hit this place.

We have done the piano bar there but not Coyote Ugly. Piano bar was fun the first time we went (4 years ago) and less fun the last time we went (2 Years ago.) Thanks for the tip!

Just as a FYI MGM's drink prices have gone UP ! You may want to drink just about anywhere else. We drink Absolute and sprite and MGM was $3 more a drink than anywhere else we drank. Not a good place for dancing but a nice lounge to listen to music and drink is Centra at Luxor ( formally Liquidity ). It's in the middle of the casino and has nice seating and a pleasant atmosphere and very reasonably priced drinks ( and near to MGM )

You might want to go to Piano Bar in NYNY, its gets so much fun later in the evening, lots of laughs and most start dancing on big dance floor, they play everyhitng but most songs from the 80,s. Its so much fun and free if you go to cheap sde (no tables just big floor), and like most stuff where the cheaper side is is where the action is
