Hollywood Dining

We are planning on doing a late morning/early afternoon one-hour horseback ride through Griffin Park with Sunset Ranch on June 5th.

I am looking for suggestions for lunch in the Hollywood area for afterwards. Looking for something not too expensive for a family for four, but would like some sort of Hollywood ambience. Checked into Musso and Frank, but it's a bit too pricey.

Any other places you could recommend? Thanks!

Andres in the Fairfax District across the street from the Grove (3rd and Fairfax) next to the Whole Foods. Parking by there is hard, and the line may be a bit long, but it is worth it for some of the best Meat Sauce you will ever have (they have plenty of other great Italian food but are known mainly for their spaghetti with meat sauce). Be midnful that it is cash only and everything is charged a la carte. A full meal will usually cost around 12-15 dollars. I highly recommend it and it is a great place to eat and then go shopping at the Grove/Farmers' Market since everything over there is really expensive and not very good. Remember, Andres on 3rd and Fairfax.

Did you want to do any other things in the area besides eating? Check out the Hollywood & Highland shopping center. There are many restaurants there, as well as: photo op on an upper level for the Hollywood sign, Dolby Theater (home of the Academy Awards ceremony), Walk of Fame out front, Chinese Theater next door, Disney's El Capitan theatre across the street, Jimmy Kimmel tapes next door to the El Capitan, Disney Soda Fountain/Ghirardelli next door to El Capitan, etc. Parking is validated (ask at any shop or restaurant). Also check The Grove and the Farmer's Market. Those are next to each other (parking lots are separate, so make sure to get the correct validation), have nice shopping, great food, and consistent celebrity sightings.
