Do you think you can sneak in to put a gift in or will you have to order it to your room?
For our arrival gift last time, I had it all packaged and when we left for dinner I "forgot something" and went back in to set it out. I was going to go to the room first but the rest of the group beat us there. For dd4 and dn3 I did a stuffed baby, a lanyard and pins, a couple of Mickey coloring things, sheets for them to document their trip(face rides, where we went, where we ate, who we met) I know there was more but it's escaping me. There's a pic in my tr- probably on page 1. I can't copy from my phone.
You could do a new shirt or autograph book

Mary Poppins, Alice & the Mad Hatter are at the GF breakfast along with Pooh and I think Tigger is there too. We are doing a late breakfast that day so we can sleep in and then hit a water park in the afternoon.

I picked up a couple of small sand buckets and scoops today for the kids to use on the beach. 10 days..........................

So today I finally got out the suitcases and all the things I've been stock-piling in the closet. Some it is packed................then I stopped to mow the yard and surf the DIS..............for some reason I can't ever seem to get in the mood to actually do the packing for a trip, no matter where we are going. I don't know why................I great at planning and list making, I just struggle with the packing portion. Maybe it's too far ahead and I know and I just pack everything and be done with it.

I better do something though since the need to moved before I go to bed. I'm off to a barbeque at my sister's...............

Today is single digit day.............and we did AND AND this morning!!


I received the Disney Destination email today with the link to do the online check in. I can't decide if I should or not............. I really want Tokeleu longhouse. That is where DH & I stayed in Sept and it was a perfect location and great garden views.

Happy Birthday to me!!! (and anniversary; yes, I got married on my b-day; and yes, DH doesn't get to schlep by on the gifts.......... although Disney trips do cover him for both occasions)


I don't know why I woke up grumpy this morning. I really do love birthdays! And in 4 days I get to celebrate in WDW!!! Now if I had planned better, I should be on a plane to WDW now rather than in 4 days, but the parent side of me wanted DS9 to miss as little of school as possible and they are off next Friday.

Oh well................. only 4 more days

I better get packing! I always procrastinate in packing. The lists are done, I bought some airplane snack food for the kids last night, the suitcases have been sitting out for a week. Now to get busy and see how it all needs to be arranged!

Of course the night before we leave there will be a million other things to get done - drop dog at my sisters; mow the yard; clean the house (I can't leave with a dirty house); last minute packing.

I need to research the carry on size allowed as I only want to check one bag and use another suitcase as a carry on along with the kids's backpacks, hence the "arranging" that needs to be done now rather than in 3 days.

Good news is that we are packed! It took me ALL day yesterday to get it done, but it's done. Except for the few last minute things of course. Once large suitcase to check, a smaller carry on and then 3 backpacks and the stroller. It really shouldn't be that hard to pack, but apparently I make it hard. If I could just throw everything and all would be good, but no I have to bag up each kids outfits, make sure I have some extra for DS4 just in case. Then the plane entertainment has to be set out as well.

2 more days!!!.................the BAD news is that DS9 is

I'm hoping it's just a small stomach bug. He wasn't feeling well yesterday and threw up last night ALL over the bathroom. I dont' think he got anything in the toilet, but hit every other spot in the bathroom! He was feeling better until he ate breakfast. I decided to have him stay home from school to recoup just to be safe. I have a feeling he will be fine though and back at school tomorrow.

Only a few items left to finish up:

- clean up work items
- last minute laundry
- mow yard tomorrow night
- drop dog at my sisters
- print out touring plan sheets that I made up

Well, we leave tomorrow and I am exhausted! Vacations are a lot of work to get ready for! Stuff at home, stuff at work................... all that is left is baths for the kids and to pack up the last minute stuff.

I have my notepad all ready for notes and plenty of camera memory for food porn. I'll do a TR when I return.

Yes, I'm back. We got back on Tuesday night. I do plan on writing a TR, but I slacked on notes during the trip. I normally write everything up in word so that I can copy that into my digital scrapbooks that I do. I also use it to do my TR, so once I get that done, I can start a TR with pics (almost 800!! )

The Poly was wonderful and we had a good time except for a few horrifying events
