I thought only the deluxe resorts were opening for the time being?
Is that what was being specifically referred to? I took it more as a general comment.

Aren't some of those open for non DVC?
Personally the lack of feature pools is more disappointing to me than lack of housekeeping.
But yes, it is true. Resort guests with valid tickets will have priority for park reservations.
Has this been in the information that Disney has released already? I hadn’t seen anything that indicated how the park reservations would work, but as we are staying on site, I am hopeful this is true.
Yes this is the exact quote from Disney.
“Guests with existing Resort reservations will have priority access to the new park reservation system when it becomes available.
3) nor can resort guests be guaranteed a reservation for the park of their choice on the day of their choice (but I would guess Disney has already determined that all the individuals with existing reservations number less than the planned, initial, four-psrk total capacity).I take that to mean
1) resort guests get first priority to making a reservation
BUT
2) resort guests can’t log in last minute and be guaranteed a reservation.
No. Those are all DVC.

The problem is, now they’re saying valid ticket holders and AP’s also have priority access.Yes this is the exact quote from Disney.

Hi! Disney is still allowing rooms to be booked by DVC members, and I read somewhere else that annual passes are being sold, but they aren’t allowing any single day Park ticket/tickets to be sold right now. And we don’t know how many park reservations we will be allowed to have at one time. They just say “limited”.It isn’t possible to book an on-site reservation today. So the only option is offsite, but we don’t know if or how many will get access to a park if not onsite.
No they never listed AP holders as a first dib group. All they’ve ever said is those with resort reservations with valid tickets will have priority access to reservations. They never said it was exclusive. Yesterday’s release of information only said those with valid tickets would have priority access over new tickets sold. To be clear, I include AP’s when I’m talking about valid tickets. At any rate, it is not clear exactly how groups will be given access other than we know both groups will have some kind of priority over new tickets.I think it read "AP holders(group1) and those who have both a resort reservations AND a confirmed ticket(group 2)".

Anyone who's going in the next few months needs to be ok with limited magic....then you should probably postpone your magical week...
Disney is not tacking on an extra "coronavirus protection and sanitizing fee" to account for all the extra expenses that they are incurring.and not doing maid service, Room service or have coffee pots ?.
