I need a no buy thread in the worst way!

Rules for a no buy: You determine the number of days you will not buy anything and you determine what consists of not buying anything. You post as much or as little detail each day (or few days) in a new post, cutting and pasting from your last post. It's all about public accountability, and Lord help me, I need some right now!

My no buy: I don't count bills, groceries (yes, food from the deli section at Rouse's Market still counts as a restaurant, so no cheating there), gas for the car, fees for hiking at parks, two meals a week out with the husband, and for June I won't count required gifts to family (June is heavy with birthdays and anniversaries in my family.) or thrift store purchases to procure the grape (not eggplant, not lavender, Dickies brand are not allowed by the professor, no logos, size large, in good shape) scrubs my niece must have to start nursing clinicals in the Fall. Everything else is fair game. I want 20 no buy days this month.

Thankfully June starts tomorrow, because I've got a $10 gift certificate for J.C. Penney's burning a hole in my pocket that expires today!

Who's with me?

Ok I'll try.
What I'm excluding; food, graduation party expenses and gifts, church donations, gas, and monthly bills.
There are also two three day trips planned. So nothing counted on that week.

I'm going 14 days no spend.

June 1 - No Buy!
June 2 - Planning to eat out with co-workers at lunch at Jason's Deli, so $12ish there, but it's my birthday, not sure if that still counts, lol.

Hello! I'm not counting the usual, bills, petrol (I spend approx £200 a month on this!), Birthday presents, Prescription charges etc. I'm also in France for a week with work towards the end of the month, so will probably have spend days there, but I'll be saving on petrol and food etc at home because all meals are included! ;)

I've not set myself a target this month, I'll just see how it goes.

June 1 - no buy
June 2 - Pasty and muffin from Gregs £2.40 and 40p parking (Totally justified pick me up after a miserable referral to the dental hospital!)
June 3 - no buy
June 4 - £3.30 parking
June 5 - £3.15 Lunch, £7 'dad to be' gift for my brother.
June 6 -
June 10 -
June 11 -
June 12 -
June 13 -
June 14 -
June 15 -

June 2 - Planning to eat out with co-workers at lunch at Jason's Deli, so $12ish there, but it's my birthday, not sure if that still counts, lol. (Bought flowers for mother's birthday, in excluded category - $28)
June 3 - No buy (Excluded categories - movies for anniversary $25ish)
June 4 - No buy (Excluded categories - $4 parking at state park)
June 5 - I am tempted to eat out at lunch, as I forgot to bring something. . .maybe I'll run to the grocery store and buy necessary stuff AND a frozen dinner (staying out of that darned deli section, which is every bit as expensive as eating out).

June 5 - .99 - Sling bag off E-bay (It's 12x8x4. . .that should be big enough to carry 1 liter of water in a collapsible plastic container, wouldn't you think? I'm looking for a short hike hydration bag that isn't a backpack or a waist bag, but has the loops for a waist bag and this seems to fit the bill.)

June 6 - $57 - I fell off the wagon. Had to go to another part of town for a meeting, so I went to a thrift store close by that is very, very hit or miss. . .it was a hit. Brand new Dansko shoes, two Lily Pultzer shirts, 2 Soma bras (with tags), Moving Comfort sports bra, Calvin Klein suit jacket (classic dark gray, will look lovely with a black work dress) and an Atheleta swim dress No grape scrubs, however.
