Just got back from a magical trip to aulani April 18-23. We stayed in room 1456 in the EWA Tower (our second time in this same room) it was an ocean view studio. We love this room and the location.
We really enjoyed our second stay here and are already planning another return. We enjoyed a lot of activities including animation classes, menehune hunt and dvd rentals in the pau hauna room, two premium kids club activities and a few free play time there as well and of course, all of the character meets.
We did not do the luau, as we did a luau at paradise cove on our first trip and did not want to spend the money on another. We also did not snorkel in the reef because my daughter didn’t enjoy it last time. But we did swim in every pool, the lazy river and enjoyed both water slides. We also spent a ton of time at the lagoon and rented a paddle board twice.
We also went on the aulani Pearl Harbor tour. We did the smaller one, 6:30-11:00. We really enjoyed not having to deal with the ticket issue or having to Uber or rent a car.
We went to Costco and target on the first day and got groceries for the stay. We bbq’d twice and got pizza corner one night. We also did both the character breakfast and dinner at makahiki.
We flew Hawaiian airlines and used Speedi shuttle to return from aulani to the airport.
