Let's see how Disney World extends their "Hours" October, November, and December 2020.

I'm going in December 2020 and I'm hoping for longer night-time hours so I can enjoy all of the Christmas Lights, especially at MK. 8pm is better than 6pm.

And with EPCOT closing at 9pm, can I wish for fireworks over the lake?

And Animal Kingdom for an early Safari ride.

It seems like WDW is keeping the future park hours close to the vest within a few weeks.

If they do expand the hours for my dates, I may need to change some of my plans like fewer Disney Springs visits with late-night dining reservations that I may have to cancel and stay at the possible extended park hours for more nighttime Christmas experiences.

But really...no one knows what the future holds. But we can hope for the best.

I've finished my ADR's up to 12/14/2020

I reserved all of my park days a long time ago.

I'll have to wait to finish the rest of my dining reservations because of a split stay and the 60-day requirements.

I got most dining reservations.

I was disappointed at not having DHS availability for Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant and Hollywood & Vine for any of my days


So here my park hours.

Last week, I didn't see any park hours listed after December 12th.

Things change fast around here, but in a positive way.

I see today all of my hours for my December vacation. They are the same hours for every day of my multiple week vacation. But since Disney waited a week before extending the hours in the first post, they might do the same for December. I hope not. I guess this year I'll modify my plans if the times change a lot.

I am curious and watching for Columbus Day week (Oct 11-17). Right now we have Tues HS, Thurs AK, Fri MK. But the extra two hours at AK and MK on Monday are tempting... but then again it’s Columbus Day... and the two hours are probably there because it will be more crowded... decisions, decisions.

Very true! We could hypothetically change last-minute. Our only reservation restrictions are limited to HS (Star Wars stuff all day), so it wouldn’t be a big deal to change.

I'm a planner and I'm not worried about it either. I'm just going to enjoy myself and go with the flow.

I'm in the same boat you are, our stay is 11/27 - 12/5 and the hours posted right now are the "normal" hours which are the shorter, more restricted times. Of course we made ADRs yesterday based on those times (no other choice) and 3 of our dinners are at park close those nights. I'll be watching closely to see what happens to park hours for the nights of our trip and if any are extended we'll be thrilled AND will try to push ADRs further back to the new park close hour as well. Being 2 months out a LOT can change, plus the first couple nights of our trip are the end of Thanksgiving weekend and I have to imagine hours will be extended for all the parks for those nights at a minimum. We shall wait and see.......

My TA just sent an email reminding her upcoming travelers (including me) about the updated hours. 10/12 is our travel day so the change doesn't affect us, and when I asked if she thought they'd extend hours for the rest of that week she basically said "you never know". My biggest issue is trying to make sure we hit dinner time consistently - I have ADRs in DS most evenings during our trip and it's hard to find anything now.

I'm arriving on October 14 and am really hoping for some extended hours because I think that whole week will be busy. We're also doing Thanksgiving week and I feel pretty confident that they'll eventually extend the hours in all parks that week too. I'm not sure how they couldn't.

I noticed they have added more dates of extended hours(8pm) in MK today. I've been checking daily in hopes that our long weekend in mid-Oct got some extra time. I hope they add more dining reservations for the additional hours or operation.

I'm curious about this too. DHS seems to be consistently busy, it'd be nice to have more time.
