LMTC Disneyland tickets no longer available?/Information on Refunds

So good to hear from you, Betty! Things are a bit stressful here -- we are all treading water while we wait for any official Disney news on the parks reopening. Some people have started moving their DLR trips to WDW, just for sanity's sake. But we are doing our best to keep on swimming! How are you doing? We send our DIS love and hope that all is well with you. :)

well i have to say that things here were ok till the new place that i had found and moved into decided they wanted to break my lease with only 8 days left in the month of july. of course my hubby and i were devistated and we had to involve our lawyer and of course we won but it did take us some time to find another place to live .. while all that was happening we lost our beautiful boy Bosco to a speeding truck or car.. and i was completely devastated... so that home become the house of evil... couldnt get out soon enough... we are now just trying to settle into a new place that we finally bought. but the road was rough.. i am still working in the current place but am missing my Travel Agent duties ... much love to you all

That sounds awful! So glad that it is behind you now and that you can focus on healing and going forward in your new home. And very glad to hear that you still have your current job -- good thoughts for the future and maybe moving back to the TA field? Let's hope that 2021 will be MUCH better for all of us!
 


I never received a refund on my credit card despite being told one was being issued and I cant find out from Disney if the tickets were cancelled. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks.

also please check with your credit card company and research your statements. i just had this happen to me recently the refund was credited and i missed it and i called priceline they said to check with my bank and sure enough i did and they said re look at your statement and it was there.

Do you have the tickets/email? Can you call Disney to ask the CM to see if the barcode numbers are still valid or if they have been cancelled? I would ask Chase if there is anything they can do to help you. @gottalovepluto might know more about that -- you might want to ask.

We are doing our best to keep our chins up over here. It is dark days right now for Disneyland. The parks are still closed (although DTD has been reopened since July 9th and will expand by opening Buena Vista Street in DCA on Nov. 19th for shopping and dining only). VGC just announced that they will reopen on Dec. 6th, but not the on site hotels. Disney and the CA governor are at odds, and the standstill is not improving at all. CMs are being laid off all the way up to the executive level now. We make sure to let the CMs know that we support them whenever we visit DTD. Their struggle is evident. Kind words and a smile can mean so much more now. Today, TWDC announced that DLR will not reopen before next year. Who ever would have thought that this year would end like this?

I am so besides myself the world turned into a place that i never ever thought it would become. i thank you for those warm thoughts and prayers and i am finally feeling 97% better... but i pray for you all i am sorry that cali is just so blackened with that huge cloud. I pray every day for a better tomorrow and that the rainbow will shine again.
 
How long does it take to get a refund? We decided to get a refund instead of holding onto the tickets. October 23rd I received an email saying they would issue the refund. No refund yet.
 
Got a reply back and now hotel beds is saying they can’t issue refunds I have to contact Disneyland.
The last email on October 23 said the refund was being processed.
I am sorry to hear that this makes me very sad for all of you experiencing this ... i would try to call hotelbeds and tell them exactly what you stated above and if not then put in a dispute with your cc .... my sincere apologies take care and happy thanksgiving to all
 
Thank you Betty. You are the one I talked to when I bought my tickets. I’m so sorry for what you are experiencing. I never in a million years thought this would last this long. Our plan was to hold on to the tickets but with this not ending we decided to get our money back instead.
I think I’ll try Disneyland tomorrow and see what they say.
