Magic Bands - 1 Day Room Only and Package

I just went online to customize our magic bands and it looks like we will be getting 2 sets. One set for our 1 night room only stay and another set for our package stay.

Will they all work interchangeably during our stay or do we need switch to the package set once our package starts?

You can decline the second set of bands. They will offer to send you a set for each reservation.

To answer your original question, they will work interchangeably. We used the three sets we got last year (split stay at 3 different resorts over two weeks) at different times, to coordinate with outfits, etc

For the record, nothing is ever stored on the magic bands. Each band merely acts as an electronic key that accesses your MDE account. Everything is linked together in that account. Technically there is no limit to the number of "keys" (bands) that are associated with your MDE account - although it does appear that the technology is not infinitely scalable and that issues do show up at some point. YMMV.

Since bands are just keys, all bands on your account are completely interchangeable.
