Making a dinner reservation overlapping a MVMCP?

Can I make a 5:30pm reservation at a park restaurant on a Christmas party night without a ticket? I would just imagine I would be escorted out after dinner, right?

we booked BoG for my birthday during a Halloween Party last year. When we made the booking, it gave us a warning that we had to have party tickets

If the reservation is for BEFORE the park closes to regular day guests, you are fine. And yes, they will point you to the exit

Sorry to bring up an old post, but I was just able to make reservations at the Jungle Navigation Co in Adventureland at 6:10 PM. The park closes at 6 to regular guests. There was absolutely no warning that I needed a ticket to keep the reservation. Not sure if this is an oversight or what, since there were no other restaurants open after 6 that I could see. It's not likely that I will be done eating by 7 when the party actually starts.
Anyone have any additional info?

This is from Disney World’s MVMCP information page:

Dining reservations are available from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM and are strongly recommended. Reserve your table online or by calling (407) 939-3463 or (407) WDW-DINE. Seating times for each location may vary. Please note: Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets are required to book dinner or dessert event reservations.”

Bottom line? If you don’t have a party ticket you won’t be allowed to use a 6pm ADR and will need to keep looking for one for 5:55 or earlier.
