Moving from por riverside to cruise then to por french quarter?

We are doing 4 days at por riverside then a 3 day cruise and returning to por french quarter. My question is are we able to leave our extra luggage at por riverside when we head to cruise and then retrieve it when we get to por french quarter?

We were able to leave luggage with POR before a cruise. We asked, they said yes. And we weren't even staying at wdw after.

But resorts have been known to say "no", so know that it's not a given.
