New to the DVC

Morning group:
My family just joined the vacation club while visiting last week. We look forward to talking to other members of the DVC so we can make informed decisions when using our points. We took a 160 point package and plan on using them next year for a 3 day cruise on DCL and a 4 or 5 day stay at the WLV. Our home property is at Saratoga Springs. Any of you veterans who may have some advise for this newbie family would be really appriciated.
