I was wondering how many different buildings people have stayed at at OKW? There are 49 different buildings. Has anyone stayed in more than 30-35 of them? As DH and I were walking hand in hand up Penninsular Road last week, that question just popped into my head. When I asked him, "I was wondering.....aren't you?" He replied "The only ones who'd be interested in that are you and your 'board people'" So "board people", please tell me.

Great question! :)

We have spent just over 60 weeks at OKW since 1993 and have stayed in 31 different buildings. We have NOT stayed in #12, 13, 19, 20, 22, 30, 31, 40, 41, 42, 43, 45, 51, 53, 54, 55, 63 or 64.

Doc will probably be the winner :goodvibes

We have stayed in three, 14, 49 (in GV!), and 55. All were good locations to us - 14 was across from the HH; 55 was at the very end, near the walkway to DTD, and 49 was the GV! 'nough said!

Great thought Simba's Mom, hope you get more respones!

I am sure Doc will be hard to beat, we usually ask for the same area so our total is 5 different buildings.

We have stayed in 21, 22, 15, 18, 13,14, 63, 16, 29,45, 46, 50, 52, 55, 56. Those are the ones I remember off the top of my head, and several of these buildings we have stayed in multiple times. Of those, 45, 46, 55, 15, 16, 21 and 13 are favs. We have NEVER been asigned to a building in the Turtle Pond area!

So far we've been in 21, 26, 27, 45 & 56.

Am anxious to see where we end up in 2 weeks.

Haven't had a "bad" one yet but will say I prefer 26, 27 & 45 over 21 & 56. Then again 21 & 56 were each next to quiet pools so I'm sure others would love them.

Miller's: 20, 18, 15, 64, 62
HH: none
Peninsular: 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29
Turtle Pond: 31, 34, 33, 32, 40, 39, 44, 43
South Point: 50,52,54,45

Several of the above were repeats.

Favorite was probably #45 where you could watch the ferry go by. We were on the North end of the building looking straight up the canal. Next favorite might be #20 with a beautiful view of the lake and fountain.

We've been in every building on Peninsular (23-29) and a lot of the Turtle Pond ones.

Least favorite was #50. Nothing wrong with it but it just felt so far from everything. Even had a pretty far walk to the bus stop.

#28 holds a special meaning. Our first DVC stay, June 1993. We checked in about 2-hours after purchasing.

Thanks everyone-this is really interesting to me. And Dianeschlicht, that's so funny that you've never been in the Turtle Pond area even after all those visits. I know that our first several visits were all in Southpoint and I was starting to wonder. Come to think of it, it's been about 7 trips now, and we still haven't gotten Penninsular Road, but after as many trips as you've taken there, hopefully we'll get to all the areas. Anyone else with lots of different buildings?

Wow Diane ! Never Turtle Pond...amazing with the number of visits you've had.

We've stayed in :
Miller's Rd : 62
South Point : 45, 46
Turtle Pond : 34, 43
I also stayed at OKW way back in '95 before we were Members but I don't recall where it was. I think it was Southpoint area though.
