*** Official OCTOBER 2019 Group - Boo To You! ***

Today was my FP day and MDE is driving me nuts. All day I've been trying to book my MK FPs and it won't show me any options past 2:30pm for any ride. Super weird and highly annoying. Anyone else having troubles?
 
Oct. 30 is not a party night, and no other after hours events are listed, and no evening EMH is listed, but the park hours still show the MK closing at 9PM. Why is it closing that early? Is there a chance the hours will still get extended? Or is there some other after hours event happening that evening, that has not been advertised?

It was also my FP day, and it was bizarre. For most of the various times that I chose, the website booked me at 12:35PM. Trying again didn't help, so finally I realized I had to accept the 12:35PM FP and then go back and modify it to the time I was actually looking for.
 
Yesterday was FP day and I managed to get all FP's I wanted. Then the icing on the cake was a Touring Plans notification that a reservation had opened up at Artists Point and managed to grab that too (had been looking for one for weeks). Its a little earlier than I'd like, but DD really wants to meet the Evil Queen so it'll be worth it. So looking forward to this trip, it can't come soon enough. :hourglass

I had that problem too. Ughhh.....mine still won't let me book anything past 2:30pm on 10/27. Have tried modifying, cancelling and rebooking, etc.

I've done the Wild Africa Trek. It was amazing! You're going to have so much fun!

As far as tips go: Wear shorts or pants that will not chafe when you put the harness on. For me, these were board shorts that never chafe, even when wet. Also, go a little hungry because the food they serve is some of the best I've ever had in the parks!

I’m torn between Wild Africa Trek and DAH AK! What are your thoughts?

I have not been to a DAH event, but I think this should depend on your preferences for AK attractions vs. animals. If you want to get the most out of attractions, I'd choose DAH. If you want a unique experience learning more about the animals, research conducted at AK, and animal keepers, I'd choose the Wild Africa Trek.
 
48 days till we depart for Disney!
Taking the motorhome out today for a little ride and getting the LP tank filled up.
I have been keeping an eye on the hurricane, first reports were a direct hit to central Florida. Glad that's not going to happen but looks like the Bahamas won't be so lucky.

I posted here when I joined in that my October trip is for work; it's so frustrating not being able to plan the way I usually do! We are doing MNSSHP and I'm staying an extra day after the work part is over but we aren't being told where we're eating ever night and it's killing me lol! Right now all I know besides the party is probably MK and Epcot on my extra day. And we're touring all the Disney Good Neighbor resorts which I'm looking forward to as well as the on-site ones but I've stayed at most of them!

oh my goodness, i would be desperate for a free night or two! are you able to suggest some restaurants, or maybe an evening in one of the parks 😉 put it to them as research?! lol
 
Had to change my plans for the hurrican, so now we are going october 26 till october 31st. Staying at the Polynesian Resort. 😊 . We have never been in October but I was really glad that Disney let me switch my stay without any problems. And one of the best things is that I have doubled my fun with planning.

Just added on 300 pts at OKW direct with Disney at $135 per point thru 2057. Added magical beginnings and that reduced the price to $115 per point.
