our National experience--Dolphin desk is open again

was great--picked up a car on May 25 on the Aisle....there were only cars, no vans or SUVs...no convertibles either. it was around 9:30 AM on 5/25 on the side that the Hyatt is on (don't know if that is A or B )

we planned on returning the car at the Disney Car Center, but when my husband called the National desk at the Dolphin, we learned that the desk has been re-opened to dropping off and picking up cars, so we changed our reservations accordingly. that was much more convenient for us, since we were staying at the Dolphin

we also paid by debit card via the Emerald Club. had no problems whatsoever.....

I really wanted to use this desk too, cause we will be carless for about 4 days in middle, and re-picking up a car, planned at wdw, but we are staying at swan. But if we are not sure if the desk will remain open for use, do you think it would be a problem once we get down there to call the dolphin desk and ask if we could move out pick up there verus wdw? Would that change our rate? Thanks, for any info, MKY

we had no problems changing the reservation over to the Dolphin from WDW. they did it for DH right at the desk
