My family is wanting to take another trip to Disney from End of May through first week of June. When should we book our room and when we book, can we just book room and tickets now and add on the Dining plan at a later time? Then, if something comes up we cannot go that week, can we move our week to another week and if so, how long? Thanks

There is currently a room discount available for that time, so I would price things out and book now. If you go to the website, click on the "special deals" link. You can get quotes on just the room, room + tickets, and room+tickets+DDP. If you want to book a package with just room and tickets, you can do that now and add the DDP later. You will need to make a deposit of $200, with the balance due 45 days prior to arrival. Keep in mind that while you can add the DDP at a later date, it must be done at least 3 days prior to arrival (and payment in full for that will be due at the time you add it, if you add it after the 45 day mark). Also, if you decide to book just the room now and want to change to a package, the room only will have to be cancelled/refunded and a package booked, requiring a new deposit. Since RO and packages are separate reservation systems, money paid toward one cannot be applied to the other.

If you book and cannot make the trip, you can cancel at any time prior to the 45 day mark without penalty. If you cancel 44 days or less from arrival, you will be charged a penalty of $200. You can, however, move your trip to a later date and may or may not be charged a fee. If moving your dates cause an increase in the total cost, you most likely will not be charged a fee as Disney usually waives the fee if your trip will cost more. If the change causes a decrease in price, you might be charged a $50 change fee.

HTH :).
