Riviera Operating Hours for Disney Skyliner pre-open??

Well its offical the skyliner hours have been posted (****************). They will be opening the Riviera to Epcot line prior to Riviera open? How does that work if DVC member dues were used to build and operate??

"The Epcot Line which originates at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort with a stop at Disney’s Riviera Resort (opening December 2019), has the following hours:
September 29-30: 8 AM

DVC member dues were not used to build the Skyliner.

Riviera will not share in operating costs until Riviera opens.

The Riviera Gondola Station is adjacent to the Aruba section of CBR. Disney could very well open the Riviera Gondola Station to allow those CBR guests to use the station closest to their rooms. Access to Riviera could be blocked off between gondola station and the building.

Even after Riviera opens, Disney will have to, at least partially, fund the skyliner until the resort sells out. DIsney can pick up the tab and begin operations whenever they wish.

FWIW, according to one calculation I’ve seen online, rates at the other Skyliner resorts went up by a total of $60 million in 2020, so it doesn’t look like DVC is paying the entire bill.
