I've seen the timeshare store rents points expiring soon for $8 pp (not sure how much of a cut they take) and I know David's also helps rent last minute points too but they do suggest very low prices-heck though $3-4 pp could be $150-$200 toward covering closing costs or 2017 dues rather than them expiring without any use

It will be close after closing and getting the account up and running, but I would start at $10, I sold my expiring points in less than 12 hours on Disboards at $10 point.
