Rope Drop Smugglers Run - Sunday before Thanksgiving at Morning Extra Magic Hour

Do you think there is a point to attempting to get to Smugglers Run the Sunday during Morning Extra Magic Hour? We are early risers and could be at the park by 7am, but it every hotel is going to be at capacity, as we are also coming back Dec 1-4, so I wonder if just a regular day would be better during standard operating hours?

This is up to you. I personally think that rope drop is one of the rides busiest times, and that mid-day is usualy, and oddly, the best time to ride. But, this is Thanksgiving week, so things could be different

It is our first WDW trip, we have been to DL several times, but that is a different beast altogether!
