**September 2019**

Ok I'm back to being mad although this time it's at JetBlue! They just moved our 9:30am flight from NY to 6:15am. Time to start replanning a sleep deprived Plan E....

That sounds awful! But as Pollyanna would say, think about it as more time for Disney... even if you're tired LOL Yeah, we are leaving at 6:30am ourselves and I already know I'm going to be exhausted. Not looking forward that that bit of the trip.

Pollyanna here! Our flights are always at 7am and we love it. We get up at 3:30am but it's awesome getting to MCO by 9:30am and having your whole day ahead of you!

We always get a 7AM or earlier flight from the Twin Cities (MN), so we arrive by lunchtime... still lots of time in a park, but yes, we are pretty darned dragged out by the time we get back to the resort and still need to unpack bags....

Sleep deprivation might be the theme of the trip :D
Silver linings - you get there early! My best friend and I had a similar flight time for our trip and it was nice having a full day.

It’s true; my husband will only be there for 4 days so at least he’ll get almost a full day Saturday instead of a half day – just worried the kids won’t go back to sleep on the way to the airport or on the flight after getting them up at 3:30am and they’ll all be a nightmare the rest of the day.

On the plus side I had planned to do HS even though we didn’t really want to since it’ll be so crowded on a Saturday but I figured it would be a good half day park. Now we can do AK and make it an early night, which is what I had originally wanted to do many, many plans ago lol.

We've done the 3:30am wake-up for an early flight before. Ours was for a Universal trip. While it was great to get there and have a lot of time left in the day to hit the park, it was exhausting. I think your plan to make it an early night is a good one. I think parks were closing at 5pm when we did that (January), and it was all we could do to have dinner & get everyone in bed after the park closed. I'd recommend planning for an early QS dinner in the park or even something you can grab & eat in your room while you're settling in.

Oh, and my kids have never been car sleepers. So they, by default, are not plane sleepers, either. So I totally feel you.

I was fiddling with our plans a bit since we had a HS day planned on a Saturday, and ended up moving the HS day to that friday instead cause I just feel the crowds will be a lot lighter and we can just flipflop Epcot for that Saturday, though I'm not sure how much better the crowds will be to be fair. I'm hoping for the best!

As a little treat for my niece, I also booked Tea in Wonderland for her on a Monday afternoon before my grandma leaves and before my mom/stepdad/viewers get in. It is also booked then so my grandma, who we are lucky to spend this holiday with especially since she has battled breast cancer and BEAT IT the last time we were planning on going with her (thus why we had to push off the trip), could get to see the Grand Floridian for an afternoon while we do an adult tea *winkwink* at the lounge there and she gets to see how HAPPY my niece will be when she gets out of the special tea party.

My niece absolutely adored her interactions with the Mad Hatter the last time went went to 1900 Park Fare's Supercalifragalistic Breakfast. She always talks about how he called her baby instead of Bailey, and always starts cracking up over it so... I think she's going to be SO surprised. Btw, with an AP discount, it cost me about $43 while it is regularly about $50-something so it's pretty cheap for a great afternoon of memories.

I am thinking of taking my three year old to Harmony for the baby's first hair cut. I know she is not a baby, but she never had a hair cut and is terrified of the thought of it, but she watched a video of it at Harmony and she told me she wants to get her hair cut at Dizzy. Anyone ever see/hear of a kid that old getting that package? I don't want it to be weird :confused3, but she's my last so she is still a baby at 3 to me.

Pop - September 23rd-28th. We visit almost every September. I too am worried the crowds will be much heavier than what we are accustomed to. On the bright side, I am an early bird. Will my 19 and 21 year old kids be able to make 6am....Who knows! The buses will bring them whenever they're ready. Ha ha!

Welcome to all the new September crew!

I was just having a chuckle, cause I'm on a Disney diet right now~ trying to lose some weight so I don't have to haul it all over the World, literally. However, I am currently just thinking about all the yummy foods I want to try and eat when I'm at Disney to the point of looking over the menus for fun. Does anyone else do this? LOL

I heard of babies(all kids are babies to me even when they are 7, like my niece) getting their first hair cut whenever they get their first haircut and that could be when they are 5! So I think you're okay boo.

I'll be at Pop Century September 8-14 for a solo trip!
Yacht Club Septemer 17-24
Added to roll call. Welcome!

I really like that about the Disney buses, if someone wants to sleep in we can always meet up later. I definitely think this will be a September to remember lol

Um yes. I am calorie counting because I need to lose weight and I have been checking out a lot of the food porn type threads lol

Last year we downloaded the Food & Wine app, which allowed us to see menus, favorite items we wanted to try, and find them on a map. I never deleted the app, and plan to use it again!

Seriously is the best motivation! Smaller for Disney, thus hopefully less hot (LOL, not matter how optimistic I am, I know this is a lie to myself) and I will get to eat all the treats, and not feel bad cause I'm doing 15 miles a day!

I can't wait to go to Food and Wine for the first time! Everytime we go, we get there like LAST day or something, and we never ever get to experience it. I'm all about trying all the wine.

So excited they added MK and AK DAH dates during our trip!!
Re-thinking our itinerary AGAIN! LOL.

Great. Now I have to go look and make more decisions. I know it's awesome that they're providing more offerings, but stop it already! I just want to be able to make a plan!

When I look I can only see DAH available until June? Am I looking in the wrong place?

I saw they added extra nighttime EMH to MK but not to AK so now I'm just confused lol

I think I read the September DAH dates open for booking on May 30th.
