$65/pt with the old Magical Beginnings incentive. That was for VWL and VB.

It was a bit more when we bought AKV, but don’t recall the number. It was direct as soon as they opened sales.

Even more when we bought VGC when they started sales. I *think* that was $100ish/pt.

OKW- Bought 190, at $56/pt in 1993, then added on in 1994, 1996, and 1999 at $57.50, $62.75 and $65.
BCV- Added on at $84/pt in 2003

Depending on which resorts these were purchased at, it looks like your DVC has essentially retained value, and possibly would net a small profit. Basically, you received all of those vacations for the price of the maintenance fees which proves to be an incredible deal.

This also shows the tremendous inflation in Disney's prices for direct buys the last few years.

They've nearly doubled the price. However, if the same trends repeat themselves, the new prices may better reflect the actual value of DVC. If priced correctly, a timed contract like this should lose value at a fairly linear pace.

All our points are at BWV with Dec use year, it's easier for me to keep it all straight that way. LOL

1st contract purchased 6/2000 150 pts @ $67 per pt; direct purchase
2nd contract purchased 3/2005 50 pts @ $81 per pt; direct purchase
3rd contract purchased 6/2011 150 pts @ $46 per pt; resale
4th contract purchased 5/2018 150 pts @ $117 per pt; resale (it killed me to pay this much but it seemed to be a good deal for the time)

My only regret is that I did buy more points when the prices were low. I'm always looking but I think I'm set for now with what I have.

We bought direct in 2010 for 300 points at VGC at $97/pt. The incentive was double the purchase points for the first year. We really enjoyed using the 600 points that year.

I think we paid about $65 a point direct in 2007 for SSR
Then in 2009 we turned down BLT for about $85 a point direct at some DVC event they had that year that was much like a kids dance party at the world trade center in Boston. Wish I pulled the trigger then, but hindsight is always 20/20 I guess....

I have 4 contracts. BWV 150 was $55, BWV 150 was $57, SSR 300 was $75, and SSR 200 was $77. Of course, I bought and sold WL, BLT, and VGF over the last 5 years as well. I was fortunate to not lose any money on the sales...matter of fact, I sold VGF for$25 more per point than I bought 18 months later.
