Has anyone done this excursion and can give more details. I am especially interested in how much time you get at the beach itself. How long is the ride to the beach and on what kind of boat? It says "sailing on the Allure". Is that a catamaran? Any info on this excursion would be appreciated. Thanks

The Allure is a catamaran. It was family built and run. They are nice people. The boat was not crowded (just people from disney). The afternoon trip looked a lot more crowded (don't know where they were from). They served drinks and snacks going and comming.

We sailed over to st johns. We anchored off the shore and were able to snokel or swim over to the beach (everyone in the water had a buoyancy compensator (a mini life jacket)). We were one of the first boats in the area. There were many more boats in the area by the time we were leaving. The snorkeling was very good, lots of critters and colorful corals. Our kids did great snorkeling here, the water was very calm.

You got back to the Magic pretty early in the day and that gives you time to go to town if you feel like it.

We really enjoyed the excursion and recommend it.
