Thought we would never stay @ Riviera.....but it is the perfect resort with WDW in limited capacity.

before COVID, we had a labor day weekend planned at the POLY. Waitlisted for Beach Club. Covid hits, everyone cancels. We get our waitlist at Beach Club. Only to find our Storm Along Bay is closed.

The quiet pools at BC leave a lot to be desired, and we do not want to walk to the Boardwalk pool.

We love the EPCOT resorts area and most of our meals and park visits are planned around there. Only leaving the area 1x to go to MK. 31 days out, a studio came open at Riviera and I decided to jump on it. Works well since we already had dinner planned at Topolino's one night.

We can use the sky liner to get to EPCOT and the Studios. Will get to try out a new resort, and the pools seem just the right size for us.

We enjoyed three nights there this past weekend on a cash stay with the AP discount. It's one we thought we'd never pick because it is so point-expensive, but now that we stayed there, we love it. It is so nice. Hope you enjoy it!

So great to hear! We arrive at RIV tomorrow and are excited to explore the new resort.

Please report back. We have a 4 night stay planned there for next summer and I'm particularly curious how transportation to/from MK and AK fare. Also, very interested in hearing about the counter service at Riviera!
