Tickets

This is our first trip to Disneyland. Do we use our hotel cards as our park tickers? Also can you charge things with your card to your room? I was thinking it might be like WDW

If you're staying at one of the 3 resort hotels (Grand Californian, Disneyland Hotel or Paradise Pier) you may charge things throughout the parks, DTD and hotels to your room account. You also have the option of having all your purchases delivered to the hotel. As far as park tickets, those are separate tickets. If you bought a package through Disney Travel, you will get those when you receive it about 21 days before you go.
