Top 5 Las Vegas activities

The Bellagio - esp the spa

Breakfast Buffet at the Wynn

Shopping at Desert Passage

Relaxing by the pool

Playing blackjack with drink in hand

The great glass ceiling in the lobby of the Bellagio, Cirque show "O" at the Bellagio, and we thought the best buffet was at Green Valley Ranch

We are going to Cali, but my fiance wants to go over to Las Vegas for a day, do you think we can hit: Fremont Street, New York-New York Hotel, Eiffel Tower, Stratosphere Tower, Venetian Resort, Bellagio, Mirage, Luxor. All in one day. We wouldn't be staying the night.

Just went the beginning of November.
You have got to see Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian. I wasn't very enthusiased about seeing it, but I am so glad I did. The theater was built for the play and is 20 times more spectacular than any other musical I've ever seen.
The special effects and decor of the theater reminds you of Pirates of the Carribbean or something. I'm spoiled now to ever see a musical or play in a "regular theater". Well worth the money.

If you get started early, don't spend too long in each place, and leave really late you could fit all that in.

Saw it in October. Excellent production.

Danny Gans, Phantom and Celine- all GREAT shows I'd see over and over again!
Saw Danny Gans and Phanton -- and agree whole-heartedly! Haven't seen Celine, so I can't comment on that show. Saw Elton John (who performs when Celine is off), and he was in excellent form.

just being there is awsome

1. blue man group

Great thread going to Las Vegas for the 1st time next month & I can't wait

Disney owl -- as a visitor from the U.K., you might try to see the Beatles "LOVE" at the Mirage. It is fab! At a minimum, visit the "LOVE" gift shop. There's a bass guitar on display signed by the Fab Four.

1. Beatles LOVE - absolutely incredible!

Things I love to do when staying in Vegas :cool1:
1. Lake Mead
2. Red Rock Canyon
3. Valley of Fire
4. Hoover Dam
5. Death Valley

We go once or twice a year.

We like -

1. Ethel M's chocolate factory free tour and desert gardens!

2. Sam's Town Casino - very low key and fun and there is a movie theater after you run out of dough

3. We ALWAYS stay at the Golden Nugget downtown and recommend the Fremont st. experience and downtown area to get a "feel" for the old days- not really a family place though.

4. SHOP everywhere= outlets, fashion show mall, forum shops at ceasar's and shopping at the old ALaddin (now Planet Hollywood)

5. STAR TREK we usually go to this at the Hilton. It is pricey but you can get half price at the half price ticket places - get the backstage tour, too.

What? Just FIVE things??? What about fun food - great buffets - nice fancy schmancy restaurants? and don't forget gambling!!

If you decide you want to take a tour of Hoover Dam try the Comedy on Deck Tour. Joni is the tour guide and is a stand up comedian as well as being very knowledgable about Hoover Dam. We had a wonderful time! I highly recommend this tour.

We also enjoyed Ka very much and saw the Evening at LaCage at the Riviera which was a lot of fun if you like drag queens.

I wasn't too impressed with Ethel M's tour (nothing going on) but the candy shop was yummy!
