Transportation to other parks??

I have a couple of questions about transportation in the Disney parks.

1) If we rent a ecv in AK in the morning and go to MGM in the afternoon, will we be guarenteed the use of one in MGM?

2) if we rent an ecv in the morning at MK and leave for a couple of hours how difficult is it to get another one that afternoon?

2) Are the buses that run from one park to the others accessible with an evc (in case we rent from outside company)?

Thanks in advance. I did a search & did not find the answers to my questions.

I don't have personal experience with these things, but can tell you what I know form other people posting and talking about/talking with CMs.

No. If the park you are hopping to is out of ecvs when you get there, you are out of luck. Some people have posted that when they turned in the ecv at the first park, the CM called over to the second park and had an ecv held. But, this is not always going to be possible and even if they call over, there might not be an ecv available at the time they call.

People have posted that if you leave a park and are coming back to that same park later, they will hold the ecv for you. I've seen this posted enough times to feel fairly certain it will happen.

The monorails all have accessible cars and almost 100% of the buses are accessible, with lifts or ramps and tiedowns to safely transport wheelchairs/ecvs. The buses can hold up to 2 ecvs/wheelchairs at once. Occasionally there is an ecv that is too long to fit on the lifts, but these are usually ones that are special ones owned by the user. The outside rental places are aware of what will fit on the lifts and if you tell them you plan to use WDW buses, you should have no problem.
The boats that go between Epcot and MGM are also accessible.
