Water Play Area at Vero

Hello!

Does anyone know if there are size and/or age limits for the "water play area" at the Vero Beach Resort? (The one with the pirate ship.)

We'll be taking our nephews in July, and the older nephew (9) is autistic. It's a "challenge" to make him understand when he is "too big" for a ride, etc.

If he won't be able to play in that area, we need to come up with our gameplan, NOW.

The Pirate play area is limited to under 48", and they are very strict about it. Kind of a bummer since you son will probably want to play on it (it's pirate themed, and what boy does not like pirates)? The pool slide and beach are still available as well as the playground near the pool. He should find plenty to do. My daughters 10 and 7 at the time, were both too big to play in the splash area and were asked to leave. They still had a great time.

Good to know. We'll just try to "steer clear" of that area.
